Xao’s Ramblings

Ok I am a die-hard cat lover, I can’t deny that but it does have its upsets like, oh yeah I am allergic to them, but thats what I have Allegra for, right?

We have 4 cats and 1 dog. They keep us in check, they make sure we know who is in charge (yes at times they do seem to rule the roost) and let us think we own the place.

The 4 cats were from a stray we found around Thanksgiving 2005 and couldn’t pass up. She had been stray for a little too long and after giving birth to her litter, became a little too feral to remain indoors.

The dog is the cornerstone of our joy. His name is Dayan and is our 3 year old spoiled-rotten-brat (also known as a Yorkshire Terrier). He knows his place but he knows he can bend the rules too.

He loves to be pampered and taken on car rides, but what dog doesn’t. He is also our watchdog, not very furious but will definitely let you know the instant someone hits the driveway he doesn’t know. Yes he knows the sounds of me and Tanya’s car and won’t bat an eye if he knows the other one is coming home. I warm greeting at the door, but don’t expect any barks. I’m sure the pizza guy and the church woman felt the same way. HEHEHE

Sadly 3 of the cats must go, with the addition of the baby we cannot continue to have 4 cats and a dog because they do require alot of attention that we won’t always be able to provide.
